The AI receptionist for plumbers

You can't answer the phone with your hands under a sink. Nimble picks up every call, works out what the customer needs, books the job or quote and only interrupts you when it's genuinely urgent.

The calls you're missing

  • A new customer with a blocked drain who rings the next plumber when you don't answer
  • After-hours calls about leaks and hot water that go to voicemail
  • Quote requests that come in while you're driving between jobs

Booking types Nimble sets up for you

  • Job
  • Quote
  • Site inspection

Rename them or add your own. Urgent situations — like a burst pipe or flooding — can go straight through to a person instead.

What Nimble does on every call

Books jobs, quotes and site inspections

Straight into your calendar, at times that actually suit you.

Captures the job details

Name, number, address and what's wrong, so you arrive prepared.

Puts emergencies through

You decide what counts as urgent — burst pipes, gas smells, no hot water — and who takes those calls.

Answers after hours

Customers get a helpful answer at 9pm instead of a voicemail beep.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Tell Nimble about your business

Your services, hours, prices you're happy to share and how calls should be handled.

  2. Step 2

    Point your calls at it

Keep your number and forward calls, or use a new Nimble number.

  3. Step 3

    Every call answered

Bookings, messages and summaries land in your dashboard; urgent calls come to you.

Questions from plumbers

Can I keep my existing business number?

Yes. Keep your number and forward calls to Nimble — all of them, only after hours, or only when you don't pick up. Or use a new Nimble number if you'd rather.

Can it tell urgent plumbing calls from routine ones?

Yes. Describe what's urgent for your business — for example burst pipes, flooding or a gas smell — and Nimble transfers those calls to you or your on-call plumber, and books the rest.

Will it quote prices?

Only if you want it to. You decide which prices or call-out fees it can mention, or it books a quote visit instead.

Which calendars does it book into?

Outlook, or Nimble's built-in calendar if you don't use it. Google Calendar is coming soon. Your receptionist checks availability before it offers a time.
